My name is Mark Hu. I am from China.

I was born in February 15^th 1995, so I’m 12 years old now.

At present I live in Eindhoven. I’m attending secondary education at the Lorentz Casimir Lyceum.

I really like the First Lego League Competition. It is combining technical toys, technique and cooperation between the children. And not to forget, it is FUN to compete. This is the third year that I am contending in the First Lego League.

Last two years I was a Risbotics member and we’ve achieved a lot. In the Ocean Odyssey competition we went through the Regionals to enter the Benelux Finals and achieved fairly well. Last year the Nano Quest we won the champions award in both the Regional and the Benelux Finals. In Bodø, Norway, at the European Championships we won two major Awards as well as a nomination.

Further we were runner up for the city award “Eindhovens Pride”. I really hope that we will be as successful this year again and that we will see lots of energy!

Ik ben Mark Hu uit China. Ik ben op 15 februari 1995 geboren en ben dus 12 jaar oud. Ik woon nu in Eindhoven.

En ik zit op de middelbare school het Lorentz Casimir Lyceum. .

Ik vind de First Lego League een leuke wedstrijd. Het combineert technisch speelgoed, techniek en samenwerking van kinderen. En het is vooral LOL om mee te doen. Dit is de derde jaar dat ik meedoe aan de First Lego League.

De vorige twee jaren deed ik mee met de Risbotics en hebben we veel bereikt. We waren bij Ocean Odyssey door de regionale competities naar de Benelux finale gegaan en hebben daar toen een goede score behaald. Vorig jaar bij Nano Quest hebben we de regionale competities en de Benelux finale gewonnen. Bij de Europese kampioenschappen in Bodø, Noorwegen, hebben we twee belangrijke prijzen gewonnen en ook nog een nominatie in de wacht gesleept.

En daarnaast hebben we de tweede prijs van het Eindhovens Trots verkiezing behaald. Ik hoop dat we dit jaar ook zo ver zullen schoppen en dat we vooral veel energie zullen zien.
